      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Partner closely with the Lead Research Analyst to investigate and document the educational effectiveness of Newsela
      - Conduct quantitative research on student outcomes using statistical and technical expertise
      - Develop reports showcasing how Newsela helps students achieve through data visualization and communication skills
      - Contribute to educational research in the industry
      - Collaborate with the team to answer questions with real-world implications for students

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Research experience in fields such as learning analytics, educational data mining, education, psychology, communications, child development, cognitive science, or related field
      - Fluency in using R for statistical analysis and data visualization
      - Fundamental statistics knowledge and skills
      - Familiarity with basic SQL
      - Strong data visualization skills using ggplot2
      - Core values including impact, learning, integrity, empowerment, diversity, passion, and selflessness

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with markdown syntax (e.g., Rmarkdown)
      - Experience preparing data visualizations for audiences with varying data literacy
      - Experience with multilevel/hierarchical modeling
