- Participate at the initiation phase of new product lines to assist in design for cost-effective manufacturing, including building tooling by motion economy principles.
- Develop and design workplace layouts using motion economy principles and handling devices.
- Develop, install, and maintain equitable standards for manufacturing processes.
- Measure variances to standards, identify out-of-control variances, investigate reasons, suggest solutions, install corrective measures, and follow up.
- Keep division performance within budgeted performance parameters.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology; investigate and install the most effective manufacturing methods to maintain the company's competitiveness.
- Track methods changes that reduce production costs and strive to achieve budgeted goals.
- Select appropriate work measurement techniques and measure the work contents of support labors.

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering preferred
- Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 1-3 years of experience in industrial engineering

This role involves working in a manufacturing environment, where you will be using the latest technologies and equipment to design and improve manufacturing processes. The position requires a focus on maintaining budgeted performance parameters and staying updated with industry trends to ensure competitive manufacturing methods are in place
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
