- Manage and grow a defined geographic sales territory through effective planning, outreach, and relationship-building
- Acquire new customers and develop long-term relationships with existing accounts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive market share and revenue growth
- Deliver consultative, solution-based sales presentations tailored to customer needs
- Create proposals and manage projects through the full sales cycle - from initial contact to order entry and post-sale support
- Maintain complete knowledge of the full product catalog and effectively communicate features, benefits, and ROI
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Serve as a trusted resource to clients, understanding their business challenges and providing actionable solutions
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
- Proven ability to manage time, territory, and priorities independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Background in industrial, capital equipment, or B2B solution-based selling
- Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple decision-makers
- Demonstrated success in selling complex or premium offerings with value beyond price
- Ability to build strategic customer relationships and navigate sophisticated purchasing processes
- Business acumen to understand client operations, pain points, and ROI metrics
- Comfortable with territory development, lead generation, and segmentation strategy
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and adaptability to various customer styles
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and a data-driven approach to pipeline management
- Experience working under performance metrics, quotas, and revenue accountability

Position Summary:
Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company, Inc. is seeking a goal-oriented, self-starting Outside Industrial Sales Representative to drive equipment sales across Arkansas and Northern Louisiana. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing new business, growing existing accounts, and delivering value-based solutions to customers in the professional laundry industry.
