      QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for an Information Assurance Specialist (Cyber) to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support our Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) contract.

      Duties:

      • Apply the disciplines of Cyber Security necessary to perform/develop Information System Security Audits, Information System Security Assessments, Risk Management Plans, Security architectures, Information system security policy and procedure guides, Information system accreditations and certifications, Command and Control Protection plans and policies, Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP).
      • Responsible for the installation and maintenance of information system security products and services.
      • Provide systems engineering expertise to analyze system concept, system design and interoperability, providing input to, and analysis of, system architectures.
      • Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews.
      • Prepare and implement the Information Systems (IS) accreditation program IAW the DoD Information Assurance Certification, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Certificates of Net worthiness, including all reports required by the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002.
      • Analyze programs/systems for integration, fielding, demonstration, experiments, exercises, and testing.
      • Assist with the review and document maintenance of PM FPS test plans, events, and reports.
      • Coordination of frequency allocation requirements for the Program Offices’ systems including the coordination of DD Form 1494s, to obtain electromagnetic spectrum certification, including joint spectrum certification and host nation coordination.
      • Provide recommendations and/or drafts for change or input into the Configuration Management Plan.
      • Provide technical support for the Government Program Protection Plan (PPP) process performed IAW DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5200.39, DoDD 5200.1-M.

      Required Clearance:

      • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

      Qualifications / Experience:

      • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline.
      • Five (5) years of applicable Information Assurance/Cyber Security experience in a DoD acquisition program office or similar organization.
      • Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT II) certification, or equivalent, preferred.
      • Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Risk Management Framework, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) planning support experience for current PM FPS efforts, preferred.

      Travel:

      Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

      Work Environment:

      This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

      Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

      This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours.

      Estimated Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00, annually. This represents the typical range for this position based on experience and other factors.
