What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Remotely monitor and protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Support IT teams and end users in resolving information security and antivirus issues
- Detect attacks, investigate incidents, and report violations to protect data and systems
- Collect, monitor, and interpret information from various systems, logs, and monitoring solutions
- Assist with internal and external Information Security audits and vulnerability scanning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4 years of experience in Information Technology, including 2 years in network and/or system administration
- 1 year of experience in information security or computer networking and security
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills
- Ability to identify, analyze, and neutralize IT security threats and prioritize security issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with network discovery, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing tools and techniques
- Familiarity with the NIST cybersecurity framework
- Cybersecurity and IT network certifications
