What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in identifying business process requirements and related solutions for specific business needs
- Conduct risk assessments and provide direct support regarding security and compliance requirements
- Create documentation of technical security requirements and generate reports for management
- Oversee small to medium-scale projects or phases of larger projects under general supervision
- Resolve security problems to ensure operational continuity across various platforms

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Generally requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of information security experience
- At least 2 years of experience with networking, intrusion detection, and related technologies
- Hands-on working knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Microsoft NT/2000, and various network protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, or CCNP certification preferred
- Experience in implementing Information Security technologies and processes
- Experience in product evaluation and managing vendor relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
