What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review technical designs to analyze requirements and support development needs
- Execute system testing across multiple systems and write comprehensive test coverage
- Identify errors in implementation and assist in debugging with the development team
- Facilitate training and demonstrations for stakeholders to ensure understanding of systems
- Perform integration testing and document automation opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Six (6) years of experience in information technology (IT) operations, programming, or systems/software development
- One (1) year of professional IT work experience in areas such as microcomputer hardware/software installation and support, or network problem diagnosis
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data communications problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of principles and techniques of systems analysis, design, and programming
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with CT Paid Leave law and procedures
- Familiarity with the CT Paid Leave Authority's instance of Salesforce
- Background in testing new and existing developments and documenting results
- Experience in creating or updating tests for production deployments
- Knowledge of technical solution designs as part of the test development process
