      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as an IT Business Analyst for various Michigan state departments, focusing on customer technology needs
      - Analyze, gather requirements, troubleshoot, and coordinate technical service requests
      - Maintain ongoing customer interaction to ensure effective resolution of technical issues
      - Collaborate with team members and other departments to gain necessary technical knowledge
      - Provide comprehensive customer support for hardware and software requests

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in relevant fields or equivalent experience
      - Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in relevant fields is required for higher-level positions
      - At least two years of experience in IT support roles, such as application programmer or technician
      - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
      - Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
      - Familiarity with BMC Remedy or similar IT service management tools
      - Previous work experience in a public service or government setting
      - Knowledge of DTMB policies and procedures
      - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
