      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct assessments of alleged child abuse and neglect, including interviewing household members and visiting homes
      - Analyze gathered information to make judgments regarding child safety and implement necessary safety measures
      - Prepare written and oral testimony for Children's Court appearances
      - Maintain accurate documentation on caseloads and collaborate with social service agencies, hospitals, and community resources
      - Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation to provide continuous access and assessment services for children in the community

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Valid driver's license and a minimum of two years of licensed driving experience
      - Eighteen (18) years of age or older
      - Experience, training, or education in social welfare, social science, or related fields (e.g., law enforcement, counseling, psychology)
      - Experience drafting written reports or assessments
      - Ability to handle competing priorities and make unbiased decisions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate degree or higher in social welfare, social science, or related field
      - Experience interpreting and applying social welfare-related laws and regulations
      - Education or training in interviewing diverse populations for information gathering
      - Experience managing stressful situations and de-escalating conflicts
      - Experience investigating allegations of child abuse or neglect and independently managing a caseload
