Job Description

- Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company safety and quality standards
- Accountable for line specific production metrics and communicating area results, announcements, plans, assignments, and feedback
- Team Lead I is a working position, responsible for coordinating and staffing of line specific tasks to include job rotation and ensuring process flow.
- Promote positive team dynamics and conflict resolution with the team
- Communications include shift start meetings with team leaders, providing input for plant leadership’s considerations on attendance, performance, and continuous improvement
- Responsible for performing all necessary trouble shooting prior to informing Business Leaders of important aspects and hazards within a production environment
- Responsible for identifying needs and assisting in the creation of training. Upkeep of Standard Work activities and documents, including but not limited to Job Instructions, Observations, and Training Plans
- Accountable for inventory accuracy within the area. Ensuring material transactions in, out, and within the area are completed accurately (WIP, SCRAP, FG)
- Lead team through Cycle Counts activities when required
- Responsible for working in various operations in the area to support absenteeism and fill in for breaks, and lunch approximately 50% of the time
- Assist in training as needed
- Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper molding conditions and product quality.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to machine performance, mold defects, and material inconsistencies.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and molds.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections of molded parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document and report any deviations or defects to the Production Manager.
- Process Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement process adjustments to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

- Ability to work with your hands
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and interpret customer specification sheets, blueprints, part drawings, etc
- Intermediate or higher computer skills
- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic (shop math), and comprehensive skills
- Proven capabilities using hand and power tools including but not limited to testing equipment, measurement devices, inspection tools, etc
- Production knowledge, mathematical skills, problem-solving skills, observational skills, communication skills, analytical skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Use of computer system software
- Teamwork orientation
