      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review inpatient medical records to identify and code all diagnostic and procedural information
      - Maintain productivity standards for assigned work types with a minimum of 95% accuracy
      - Collaborate with Providers, Clinicians, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists for clinical support
      - Identify patient safety errors within the electronic medical record
      - Utilize computer systems to assign correct ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for diagnoses and procedures

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associates degree in a health-related field OR graduate from a Medical Coding course
      - At least one (1) year inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility
      - Advanced ICD-10-CM/PCS coding knowledge with a minimum of 80% on pre-employment coding test
      - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
      - Ability to work independently as a remote employee

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelors degree in a health-related field
      - At least three (3) years inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility
