Job Description

- Daily interaction with a diverse customer base, providing technical guidance, quotations and order coordination
- Evaluate customer needs, budget, and preferences to determine best-fit solution from our product portfolio. Products include valves, actuators, switches, instruments, gauges, and transmitters
- Provide reactive and proactive updates to customers on order status, changes, and delays
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, internal partners and suppliers
- Engage in proactive and regular follow-up with customers to maximize sales success
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records
- Communicate and collaborate with Sales Coordinators, Application Specialists, Account Managers, shop personnel and other internal partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Post-secondary education related to business, marketing, finance, technology, or engineering preferred
- Experience with SAP an asset
- Logical thinker, ability to solve problems, make decisions, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Curious, interested in how things work, mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivated and competitive with entrepreneurial work ethic
- Dependable and accountable, reliable delivery on commitments
- Customer-centric mindset, do-what-it-takes approach
- Customer service or leadership experience an asset (i.e. sales, retail, restaurant, coaching, teaching)
- Well-developed organization and administrative skills, detail oriented

Summary
We are currently seeking an energetic, full-time Inside Sales individual for our team in Burnaby, BC or Prince George, BC. In this role, you are responsible for quickly responding to customer inquiries, providing quotations and technical information, entering sales orders and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a career in a dynamic, customer-centric, technical sales organization. This role will report to the Manager, Application Specialists.
