Our Inside Sales Account Manager team is the driving force behind our high-level customer interaction.

      Join us as an Account Manager or Product Specialist in our Inside Sales Excellence Academy in Round Rock, Texas or Nashville, Tennessee to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. This role is cohort-based with rolling start dates throughout the year.

      What you’ll achieve

      The Dell Inside Sales Excellence Academy is an accelerated training program for account managers and product specialists, working with business-to-business (B2B) account sets. You will learn about Dell culture and our portfolio of products in order to offer solutions and services to our customers. Throughout training, you will receive real-time performance feedback, mentoring, and build business acumen.

      After thirteen to twenty six weeks in the Inside Sales Academy Excellence training program, you will transition into either an Inside Sales Account Manager or Product Specialist role where you will build relationships and provide real-time solutions for our customers. Our team ensures every customer interaction is exceptional and tailored to meet the customer’s unique needs. You will play a pivotal role in our high-level customer interactions, nurturing relationships and serving as a trusted advisor while promoting innovative products.


      You will

      • Focus on building relationships and becoming a trusted technology advisor to our customers
      • Assess the market to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommend appropriate solutions
      • Develop and implement strategic account plans that drive the attainment of critical business objectives
      • Participate in internal training focused on technical, industry, and market research while receiving regular coaching sessions to ensure continuous development

      Essential Requirements

      • Completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree prior to start date
      • 0-1 years of sales experience (preferred)
      • Passionate about a sales career in the technology industry
      • Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills

      Desirable Requirements

      • Leader with a resilient work ethic, reliable, self-assured, and coachable
      • Able to influence others and the capability to convey a sense of urgency to drive issues to closure

      Compensation

      Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $61,200 to $79,200 (this includes target incentives) depending on location.
