Within our Strategy & Operations department, we are looking for an experienced

Insights & Analytics Lead

at the location Hoofddorp, Netherlands.

You will be working in a team of 3 Insights & Analytics (I&A) leads and will directly report into the Head of Strategy & Operations. The I&A team works closely together with the other functions within Strategy & Operations as well as with the commercial Business Units in the Dutch LOC.

Your tasks in detail:

• Identify, propose and evaluate business opportunities (e.g., product, service, tools) and potential partners, ensuring alignment with Takeda’s core therapeutic and complementary area’s
• Define policies, tools and systems to maximize commercial effectiveness of the organization as well as proper monitoring of their activities
• Drive data driven strategy and mindset to improve fact-based decision making and by doing so positively impact the business objectives
• Leveraging data and KPIs to generate actionable insights for the different BU’s
• Have data available in a structured, automated way in an easy to access environment for the different internal stakeholders
• Support the organization to enhance its I&A capabilities to form a solid foundation of data ownership and insights driven activities
• Support the omni-channel strategy by defining /creating metrics/dashboards to get insights of effectiveness of various channels
• Support the launch-readiness planning and preparations for pipeline products.
• Provision of market insights to the Business Units for the formulation of product strategies through desk research and supervising and overseeing gathering of market research results
• Business planning and forecasting of new products and provide support in business planning existing products.
• Use internal & external information sources to provide insights into business performance and suggests area and methods of improving operations or leading to actionable business opportunities
• Development of policies and value metrics to monitor commercial strategy/activity and tracking of Business Performance to optimize return of investment and to provide insights;
• Support the OCE team in development of KPI’s/ metrics and analyze channel effectiveness. Responsible for the development and enhancement of reports / dashboards using multiple tools with a focus on Microsoft Power BI
• Maintain and optimize the data infrastructure behind our reporting systems (databases, master data management)
• Drafting and negotiation of agreements with other partners, working with external and internal agents and counsel when appropriate;
• Support the principles of agile way of working
• Ensure all activities/communications are in line with the latest compliance policies, Takeda’s and local rules and regulations.

Your profile:

• Master degree
• >5 years of experience in the life sciences industry on a strategic and /or operational business level
• Deep knowledge of the Dutch Pharmaceutical market
• Deep knowledge of data analysis & visualization tools, (i.e. PowerBI, Excel)
• Fluent in English and preferably fluent in Dutch
• Knowledge of standards, procedures, policies and codes of conduct of Pharmaceutical Market
• Preferable experience in omnichannel customer engagement principles
• Preferable working experience in an agile environment
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence and work effectively with various business partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to convert Dutch pharmaceutical market and data analysis knowledge into successful activities
• High level of strategic and analytical thinking and an entrepreneurial mind-set combined with solid business acumen and strong financial insights
• Strong problem solving quantitative and analytical abilities
• Experience/knowledge of statistical modeling techniques
• Daring to challenge the status quo
• Strong project management skills
