  The Lead Installation Technician will provide oversight of all assigned installations, ensuring appropriate staffing, installation scheduling, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction. Lead Installation Technician will monitor job progress to verify each installation is completed on time and within budget

  What You’ll Do…

  • Perform a site inspection to ensure proper functionality of all newly installed equipment and evaluate equipment performance prior to leaving site.
  • Ensure a smooth and complete hand-off from install to service upon project completion.
  • Ensure customer is adequately trained on proper operation of equipment.
  • Interact directly with customers by telephone, electronically, or face to face.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries; address and resolve customer concerns by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Ability to travel to assigned installation locations for prolonged periods of time, including the possibility of overnight travel with little to no notice.
  • Ability to safely operate manual and power tools appropriately and effectively.
  • Utilizing schematics and technical manuals, perform installation work on vehicle wash equipment.
  • Lead a team of installation technicians, coordinating their daily activities and providing task specific directions.
  • Participate in the training and development of your individual team members
  • Monitor project plan daily to ensure installation deadlines are met.
  • Commissioning and when needed, troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components.

  Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to climb ladders to heights over 14 feet
  • Ability to be on your feet all day
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 10 degrees to 100 degrees indoors and outdoors

  What You Need…

  • 2 years’ experience working in an industrial or installation environment
  • Ability to work out of town on installations for up to 10-12 days at a time
  • Willingness to work overtime which can include evenings and Saturdays
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Advanced computer and networking skills, preferred
  • Ability to pass a drug screen including Marijuana
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Control wiring/start up (wire fire) a strong plus
