Full Time 10-month positions available at Spring-Ford’s Elementary Schools. These positions may be in Autistic Support, Life Skills Support, and/or Emotional Support settings.
Positions are available at the following schools:
Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required. Must meet the Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: All individuals entering the paraprofessional field are required to be Highly Qualified. Individuals are required to hold an Associate’s degree or higher, or have earned at least 48 credits post-secondary training or have passed a rigorous local assessment in reading, writing and mathematics. Spring-Ford Area School District offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program. Pathways to becoming a special education teacher are available through a partnership with Point Park University for the ABCTE program. This position is part of the PSERS retirement system.
Hourly Rate: $20.25/hour
Growth opportunities are available including: Registered Behavior Technician training, ABCTE Teacher Certification Program, and mentorship opportunities.
