Job Description

- Supervising and leading Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance.
- Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance.
- Hands on experience on troubleshooting/Configuration/Programming skills of DCS (Preferably Delta V) /SCADA/BMS (Preferable DesigoCC-Siemens), Field instruments (Level, Temperature, Flow, pH, TOC, Conductivity etc.), ON/OFF & Control valves maintenance, Weighing Balances, Electrical system, Fire alarm/Gas detection system, PLC/HMI and to ensure their working standards.
- Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
- Conducting regular inspections of the instruments & electrical equipment to detect and resolve problems.
- Planning and managing all Instrumentation repairs, Trouble shooting, Calibration and installation activities.
- Ensuring adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
- Provide input for the annual budget process for the Engineering department, monitor adherence to budget.
- Documenting and preparing daily progress reports, Energy/Power Reports, and maintenance logs.
- Overseeing Spares stock and ensure no down time due to spares non availability.
- Good experience on Instrumentation & electrical related maintenance of Reactors, Centrifuges, ANFDs, Process Vessels, Vacuum Pumps, Powder Handling/Charging system, Heat Exchangers, Scrubbers, ETP/ZLD equipment maintenance etc.
- Installation and Commissioning of Instruments/Electrical system and Qualification/Validation of Process equipment
- Manage all Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance systems and personnel to ensure all work orders are completed within the parameters of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) in a timely and quality manner.
- Ensure the development and adherence to all production equipment preventative maintenance and Calibration schedules.
- Contract with outside service providers for various facility and equipment-related maintenance needs.
- Manage the Instrumentation department’s compliance to company safety policies, work instructions, and procedures.
- Manage the Instrumentation department’s quality metrics (on time investigation closure, corrective action implementation, on time document updates).
- Evaluate/improve production maintenance processes to optimize productivity and quality.
- Monitor MTTR/MTBF and Production lost Hours due to Instrument/Electrical failures and ensure necessary measures for reduction in Breakdowns
- Support facility expansion projects, Implementation of Maintenance strategy programs and other initiatives for Improvement and cost reduction
- Responsible for all Electrical & Instrumentation system periodic inspection, Statutory compliances, Stamping activities

- DCS (Distributed Control System): Troubleshooting, configuration, and programming (preferably Delta V).
- SCADA & BMS Systems: Experience with SCADA/BMS (Preferably DesigoCC - Siemens).
- PLC & HMI Programming: Configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Field Instrumentation: Calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sensors (Level, Temp., Flow, pH, TOC, Conductivity, etc)
- Calibration to be performed for 21 CFR part 11 compliance EU GMP requirements.
- Valves & Actuators: ON/OFF & Control valve maintenance.
- Power Systems: Maintenance of electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, and distribution boards.
- Fire Alarm & Gas Detection Systems
- Energy & Power Management
- Statutory Compliance & Inspections.
- Good to have Programming & Troubleshooting skills of siemens & Allen Bradley PLC/HMIs
- Good to have working experience/knowledge on different communication protocols (Foundation fieldbus, Ethernet, MODBUS and other communication protocols)
- Good to have working experience on Computerized maintenance management system or SAP for spares and maintenance management
- Good to have knowledge on Operation and Maintenance of utilities, Electrical equipment -DG's, Transformer, Motors, iMCC, UPS, AC's etc.
- Good to have Lean six sigma, 5S, TPM and other exposures.
- Good to have exposure on implementation Energy reduction measures & ISO certification on Energy Management
