      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure compliance of procedural and diagnostic codes with State & Federal laws and healthcare industry standards to maximize reimbursement
      - Verify the accuracy of claims submitted and perform follow-up on unpaid accounts
      - Process account adjustments and verify insurance coverage
      - Update records as necessary
      - Perform other duties as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree strongly preferred; completion of business and computer courses at the college level
      - Current certification from a nationally accredited body for professional coders is required
      - Minimum two (2) years of Medical Accounts Receivable and Coding experience
      - Ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and maintain excellent attendance
      - Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) is preferred
      - Demonstrated positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
      - Experience in a patient-focused care environment
