What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure insurance eligibility, benefit verification, and authorization processes are completed in a timely manner
- Document accurate insurance information and authorization details to optimize reimbursement
- Educate patients on their benefits and communicate financial responsibilities prior to services rendered
- Collect and validate patient demographic and insurance information and secure necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper reimbursement on accounts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-3 years related experience in billing, insurance, or registration
- 1-3 years healthcare experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and distinguish speech and sounds
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding company values
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in finance, business, or healthcare
