What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify eligibility and benefits for patient insurance
- Process authorizations and pre-certifications, maintaining accurate records
- Enter benefit and authorization information into the EPIC system
- Collaborate with clinical teams to gather necessary information for peer-to-peer submissions
- Ensure compliance with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards relevant to healthcare
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate, GED, or formal education equivalent
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare-related roles
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
- Proficient in computer and keyboard skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
