      NBBJ San Francisco is looking for an Architectural team member driven by a passion for design and eager to contribute to our award-winning studio. Applicants should demonstrate strong conceptual, visual, and communication skills and be ready to participate in a highly collaborative design process where the best ideas win. Responsibilities include supporting and leading project design, client interactions, exploration of design tools and processes, regular engagement in team mentorship, and a general growth mindset.

      In your new role, you will:u00A0
      • Set Expectations: Define and exemplify quality standards through design reviews, mentoring, and open discussions.u00A0
      • Inspire: Encourage radical thinking and creativity at all levels, leading the studio toward impactful design.u00A0
      • Create: Provide hands-on design work for 1-2 projects, ranging in concept to construction, ensuring holistic design continuity.u00A0
      • Review/Critique: Ensure design quality by reviewing projects and engaging teams in firm-wide peer reviews.u00A0
      • Present/Communicate: Craft and present compelling design stories to clients and peers.u00A0
      • Network Internally: Connect with design peers firm-wide, enhancing collaboration and design quality.u00A0
      • Methodologies: Ensure projects utilize the latest design/visualization methods and technologies.u00A0
      • Process: Champion proper process design and encourage designers to lead alongside PMs and PAs.u00A0
      • Expertise: Apply sound design methods across practices, while developing expertise in a single typology.u00A0
      • Integrated Design Delivery: Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure rigorous, integrated project delivery.u00A0
      What you will need to succeed:u00A0
      • 7 - 10 years of experienceu00A0
      • Bachelor's Degree: B Arch or M Arch desiredu00A0
      • Architectural licensure a plusu00A0
      • Deep understanding of high-performance building concepts, with LEED Accreditation or at-or-within 18 months of hireu00A0
      • Experience with workplace, commercial, S&T and healthcare projects preferred u00A0
      • Passionate, forward-thinking designeru00A0
      • Strong conceptual design and schematic design skillsu00A0
      • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams of designersu00A0
      • Proficiency in Revit and Rhino u00A0u00A0
      • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignu00A0
      • Interest and experience in Grasshopper workflows are beneficialu00A0
      • An interest in the use of AI to evolve our practice towards meaningful, original solutions.u00A0
      • Ability to participate in multiple projects and manage deadlinesu00A0
      • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, open environmentu00A0
      • Ability to travel, if the project requiresu00A0

      The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $90,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.

      This role requires the individual to be based in the United States.u00A0
