BJC is looking for an Administrative Intern! 3-6 month duration 20 hours/week Overview Barnes-Jewish Hospital is the St. Louis region’s top adult hospital. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Simulation Support Technician is responsible for providing a safe practice environment within the patient simulation laboratories for all students. The technician has chief responsibility for preparing supply stations for simulations that are scheduled throughout the academic day. In addition, cleans and performs general maintenance of simulation equipment, supplies, labs, and storage areas within the simulation department. Performs duties under the supervision and direction of the Simulation Specialist and Simulation Director. Coordinates with interns and work study students to assure task are completed as expected. May require early mornings, late evenings or work on Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities Ensures simulation laboratories are properly prepared for faculty and student utilization. Cleans and maintains departmental supplies, equipment, simulation labs, and storage areas according to protocols. Keeps supply and equipment inventory. Conducts routine stock inventory and reconciles variances. Prepare products, supplies, equipment, or other items for use by adjusting, repairing, or assembling them as necessary.
