      The Position

      Purpose of the role:

      We are seeking a recent graduate with enthusiasm to interact on how to ensure the IT products and services are resilient, risks are managed proactively, and the organization remains compliant with relevant regulations and standards. Being able to contribute to an integrated approach to strengthen the Informatics Continuity Framework, its associated operational activities and enhance the organization's ability to respond to and recover from disruptions.

      Main responsibilities:

      How would your day-to-day look like?

      • Being part of a team with a global geographical scope that develops and maintains the Business Continuity Plan for Roche Informatics, ensuring that Informatics prepares for the risks identified that can affect the continuity of IT products and services by defining continuity strategies.

      • Providing assistance, consultancy and guidance to the different informatics areas & domains represented there to coordinate the response and recovery efforts during a crisis, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to minimize the impact on the organization's operations and reputation.

      • Generate insights from data to provide strategic direction for optimizing crisis response and prioritizing improvement efforts during normal operations.

      • Assist IT System Owners and Product Managers in developing, documenting, and updating Disaster Recovery Plans / Resilience Concept for critical IT services, including the support on scheduling their testing and the connection with the backup and restoration procedures along with emergency and crisis procedures.

      • Design and deliver training and awareness sessions to foster a culture embracing Reliability and Continuity as key values.

      • Coordinate and facilitate exercises / simulations to enhance the IT organization's preparedness and response capabilities.

      • Participate in audits and inspections, providing necessary continuity-related documentation and information.

      Who are you?

      • We are looking for a recent graduate -no more than 3 years- with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

      • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships

      • Analytical and problem solving abilities

      • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

      • A proactive person and comfortable with speaking up constructively

      • Comfort with uncertainty

      • Nice to have an IT Infrastructure background (Security, data management, data center,...)
