  Basic Function

  HF Sinclair is seeking an IT App Development Intern for the summer of 2025 in Dallas, TX. This role is in IT organization and will have day to day interaction with cross functional teams, internal and external vendors.

  Job Duties

  ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Engage with IT Application Development team in mobility and user experience initiatives
  • Provide support on mobility tools like Appian and SAP Fiori
  • Collaborate with experienced team members
  • Exposure to UI5 or ABAP programming
  • Proactively work on change tickets and follow up thru completion
  • Work with Application development team on SAP BTP Cloud platform

  Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

  Experience

  None required.

  Education Level

  Enrolled in an Undergraduate Program for Computer Science or related discipline, or in a specialized technology program at an accredited school is required.

  Required Skills

  REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Basic knowledge of some programming languages like ABAP, java, HTML5
  • Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and develop technical skills
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment

  PREFERRED SKILLS:

  Prior experience with UI5 or HTML5 programming is preferred.

  Job conditions require sitting, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, talking or hearing, lifting and/or carrying up to 5lbs, pushing or pulling up to 5 lbs, climbing up to 2ft, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require standing and walking.
