      The Intern Product Manager will assist in the development of AI/ML software for the NJII AI Lab. The intern will work closely with the team to define product requirements, create roadmaps, and ensure successful product delivery.

      Person Reports To – AVP of AI and ML

      Supervises – N/A

      Essential Functions

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications
      • Assist in creating product roadmaps and timelines
      • Work on coding, Q+A, testing, and integration of new features.
      • Participate in the development and execution of product launch plans
      • Monitor and report on product performance metrics

      Additional Functions

      • Attend and contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions
      • Assist with the creation of product documentation and user guides
      • Support the team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

      Prerequisite Qualifications

      1. Education/Degree Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
      2. Years of Experience Required: No prior work experience required; relevant internships, coursework, or projects preferred
      3. Knowledge/Skills Required:
        • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle
        • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
        • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Good interpersonal communication skills
      • Coursework or projects related to AI/ML
      • Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
      • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
      • Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
