What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with research, policy outreach, education initiatives, and administrative support related to genocide prevention
- Support various research projects and initiatives within the Simon-Skjodt Center
- Monitor news developments in countries at high risk of mass atrocities
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare detailed notes from interviews
- Draft analytic reports and blog posts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Pursuing a degree from an accredited university
- Strong interest in genocide and mass atrocity prevention
- Experience with research and writing about contemporary mass atrocities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience conducting research about contemporary cases of mass atrocities
- Familiarity with social science research methods
