      Position Summary
      The Training & Learning Intern will support the development and delivery of employee training programs, manage training logistics, and assist with onboarding processes. This role offers hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training coordination, and internal communications, providing valuable exposure to corporate learning and development practices.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Support the development, assignment, and tracking of training content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
      • Monitor learner progress and generate reports to evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
      • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including room setup and equipment readiness.
      • Assist employees with technical issues related to training platforms and tools.
      • Facilitate onboarding sessions, including Safety and HR presentations, and support new hires with system access and orientation scheduling.
      • Maintain and update onboarding materials to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
      • Manage the training team’s shared inbox and respond to routine training-related inquiries.
      • Distribute weekly training updates and communications to relevant departments.
      • Keep the intranet updated with engaging content such as “Course of the Month,” “Plant of the Week,” and upcoming Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent communication and alignment on training initiatives.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • Strong organizational and communication skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
      • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Litmos) is a plus.
      • Bilingual is a plus.

      Job Setting & Physical Demands:


      Employees in this position work primarily indoors but may be required to ambulate between locations within a large outdoor environment. The role is sedentary, however some administrative duties such as filing are required. This would require the ability to lift files, open cabinets, walk, bend, or stand, as necessary. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to use a computer and other standard office equipment. Fluency in the English language and the ability to see, speak, hear, read, and write are required. The ability to travel by all means of transportation to meet business needs is required, such as driving and riding in a golf cart around the facility. Work hours may fluctuate to accommodate seasonal work requirements and occasional support and training for evening and/or weekend shift employees. The ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted is required.
