What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform in-depth data analysis to assess the effectiveness of key IT and security controls through complex SQL coding
- Conduct testing of system or model changes to validate compliance and performance requirements
- Identify and implement creative solutions for testing complex data sets and data flows
- Produce accurate data extracts and reports to support internal audit activities
- Test data ETL processes and validate data completeness and accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of technology experience in a data analytics role at a technology, consulting, financial institution, or financial technology firm
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and data visualization
- Understanding of IT operations, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise technology stacks
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment with minimal direction
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with model validations and regulatory examinations
- Familiarity with GitHub and DevOps tools
- Programming experience in Python
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Superset, or Tableau
- Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment
