      Overview

      The US Oncology Network is looking for a Internal Communications Manager to join our team at Texas Oncology. This hybrid remote position will support our Dallas Merit location at 12221 Merit Drive.

      Position is hybrid remote. Candidate will be required to work in our Dallas Merit location at least quarterly for training and meetings.

      What does the Internal Communications Manager do? Including but not limited to:

      This position is responsible for interna l communications. The position will create, develop, and implement communication that aligns with company vision and direction. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.


      Responsibilities

      The essential duties and responsibilities: including but not limited to:

      • Support and manage internal communication programming, such as employee newsletters, leadership and project email campaigns, intranet content , video stories, and All Hands meetings.
      • Partner with business to develop and execute communication strategies and plans for communicating key initiatives and project updates to employees, accounting for different employee audiences.
      • Identify and track key metrics to measure performance of channels and employee engagement with communications.
      • Advice and consult key stakeholders to ensure effective communication approaches.
      • Research, interview, and write internal communications.
      • Work with stakeholders to develop content for weekly and monthly newsletters.
      • Populate company intranet with stories and content as appropriate.
      • Support the updating of audience dist ribution lists.
      • In collaboration with the Internal Communications t eam, manage the cadence of drumbeat communications channels.
      • Understand and align messaging with the company s mission and pillars, championing the company s purpose through storytelling, using written and audio/video .

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or English.
      • 5 years of related experience in internal and/or corporate communications .
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
      • Have a passion for internal communications that engage and align employees.
      • Communications experience, including developing communication plans and coordinating internal interviews, key message deve lopment, and tracking KPIs.
      • Experience managing communications programs and projects.
      • Demonstrated strong writing skills.
      • Familiarity with social media and content programs, editorial calendar development.
      • Understanding of change management best practices .
      • Ability to hand le sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
      • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and across business fun ctions, establish credibility and act as a trusted partner.
