      Working in the central Internal Communications team at Sky puts you right at the heart of the business.

      Part of the Corporate Affairs function, we’re among the first to know about upcoming initiatives that make Sky a great place to work , and any large strategic and operational changes to the business . Through our communications spanning a range of channels, w e make sense of Sky and bring it to life for the people that work here. It’s our job to help people feel connected to the business and its leaders , to understand how Sky supports them to be at their best , and become its biggest advocates.

      What you'll do:

      • Bring to life Sky’s big gest people projects a nd Sky Spaces initiatives t o help colleagues feel Sky is a great place to work where they can thrive.
      • Be a core member of the People and Spaces communication team, advising on the approach to communicating strate gy and change to a variety of audiences.
      • Lead on the ideation, development and execution of internal campaigns and colleague events.
      • With an editorial mindset, create content for output across digital communications channels. Maintain the communications plan to highlight key projects relating to Sky Spaces and People .
      • Business partner the People and Sky Spaces team . Provide communications counsel to senior leadership as a trusted adviso r, and support with department al comms including organising regular townhall events and creating newsletters .
      • Be an active member of our wider Internal Comms team , proactively sharing ideas and collaborating wi th comms colleagues to ensure consistency a nd a lignment of messages , flexing to support one another in a fast - paced environment.
      • E valuate the success of each communications initiative , provid ing insight and recommendations on how to improve engagement with colleagues .

      What you'll bring:

      • Strong internal communications expertise and experience. A self-starter with a background in strategi sing and crafting engaging comms , and delivering effective internal campaigns and events .
      • Demonstrated ability to work cross-departmentally and cross-functionally , having buil t trusted relationships with senior management and leaders.
      • Outstanding writing skills, with a nose for news .
      • First class organisation and project management skills, with a record of delivering projects on time and budget.
      • A curious, creative mind that strives to do things differently .
      • Excellent presen ter with the ability to influence outcomes and guide-decision making for the good of the business and team.
      • Experience of designing, creating, and editing copy, videos, presentations .
      • Experience of managing communication channels, with a passion for digital and social.
      • The desire to work across a wide variety of interesting projects at fast pace

      Your office base:

      This role can be based at Osterley or Livingston

      Osterley:

      Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

      On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
