What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the end-to-end creation of IB MYP & DP mathematics textbook content, managing timelines and project milestones
- Ensure all content aligns with IB curriculum requirements and reflects the appropriate rigor of the IB MYP and DP syllabi
- Conduct thorough content reviews, providing feedback to improve clarity and pedagogical effectiveness
- Coordinate with a team of content developers and educators, facilitating collaboration and communication
- Continuously refine content development processes and leverage technology and AI tools to enhance productivity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Extensive knowledge of the IB mathematics curriculum for MYP and DP, with experience teaching or developing IB-aligned materials
- Strong background in educational content creation, including writing or editing math textbooks and lesson plans
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience leading projects in education or publishing
- High comfort with technology and willingness to use modern AI tools to enhance content quality
- Meticulous attention to detail regarding academic accuracy and formatting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a curriculum publishing role or as an editor for math educational content
- Insight into exam-style question quality through experience writing or grading mathematics exams
- Basic experience with programming or data tools, such as Python or SQL
- Familiarity with LaTeX for mathematical content formatting
- Passion for maintaining high-quality standards in educational content
