What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the analysis of information and data related to initial assessments and investigations
- Conduct legal and other research related to the work of the Investigations Section
- Review the adequacy of investigations conducted by third-party implementing partners
- Collect and assemble evidence, including participating in interviews and drafting interview synopses
- Assist in the drafting and preparation of analytical reports and memoranda
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduated within the past two years or currently enrolled in a university or an Advanced Degree Program (preferably law school)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in legal activities and/or investigation-related functions
- Fluency in English is required, working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish is a strong advantage
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant computer systems and applications
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of another UN language (Chinese or Russian) is an asset
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
