- Spring 2026 Program Dates: Approximately January 2026 – April 2026.
- Supports a wide range of events that include but are not limited to meetings and familiarization “site” trips, corporate picnics, social market, internal marketing and sales divisions, community relations, corporate and incentive events and more.
- Works closely with key internal partners such as Event Operations, Entertainment, Catering, Revenue Operations, Publicity, Guest & VIP Services, Parking & Transportation, Security, and Outside Vendors.
- Attends event related meetings (internal and external), completing, and distributing event itinerary, facilitating event logistics while tracking the event budgets and handling post billing and communicate recaps and special event follow-up.
- Plans and executes a small meeting individually, with guidance.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Preferred majors include: Event Management, Hospitality Management, Theme Park Management, or similar.
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.

JOB SUMMARY:
Intern will support Universal Orlando Resort Event Managers with the planning and execution of events, with the opportunity to plan and execute smaller events individually. Successfully prioritize and execute an event with various operational elements such as entertainment, catering, ticket and VIP tour requests, air and ground transportation, merchandise, credentials/giveaways, and itinerary development related to event goals and objectives.
