What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Connect with customers virtually using video chat software
- Provide tax advice and assist with full-service tax return preparation
- Answer questions regarding products and software
- Simplify tax calculations and provide clear explanations to customers
- Document customer interactions and resolve concerns according to company policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma
- Enrollment in a degree-granting college program
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic tax knowledge is helpful, but not required (training provided)
- Ability to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English
- Previous customer service experience
- Familiarity with tax preparation or accounting principles
