What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct physical inventory counts using handheld devices by tag section and category
- Verify merchandise and store assets, including cash, lottery, money orders, and deposits
- Identify and pull out-of-code merchandise, price discrepancies, or inventory errors
- Review audit results and discrepancies with Store Management, District Managers, and Audit Supervisor
- Complete and submit all audit documentation accurately and timely
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in a convenience store environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and current liability insurance
- Proficient with handheld scanning technology and strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills
