Job Description

- Devise and implement effective inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of products and supplies.
- Identify shortages and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Record daily deliveries, shipments, and stock movements.
- Utilize inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) to track and document inventory.
- Forecast future inventory needs through data analysis.
- Place purchase orders to avoid stockouts or excessive surplus.
- Evaluate suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, trends, and issues to upper management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software).
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Ability to accurately track inventory data and generate reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience is preferred.
