What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and develop broad-based relationships with distribution warehouse personnel
- Develop, monitor, review, track, and report on established key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory control
- Oversee and improve inventory purchasing process for effective cost control decisions
- Work with national account team to manage forecasts, limited-time offers (LTO), and special purchases
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and costs to properly service customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related area
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience required
- 5 or more years of related experience in purchasing, customer service, accounting, warehousing, and/or transportation
- Experience in the food service industry preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to achieve results through negotiation, resource allocation, communication skills, and good judgment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products

- 0-2 years of experience in the food service industry as a supervisor or in a related role
