      Responsibilities

      Peraton is seeking a IT Analyst 2 for the Department of Defense (DoD) DMDC Enterprise Law Enforcement Support Services (ELEs2) program.

      The IT Analyst conducts complex data queries, reviewing and analyzing identity-related records across multiple classified and unclassified systems, and collaborating with DMDC application teams to resolve sensitive investigative requests. Generates timely, well-documented, and accurate responses to high-priority inquiries from defense and federal investigative agencies. Responsibilities also extend to supporting classified programs, necessitating access to SIPRNet, NIPRNet, and SCI environments, and maintaining situational awareness of critical IT and data governance matters across secure systems. In this role you will:
      • Provide analytical support for identity management and credentialing data in response to federal and DoD law enforcement and intelligence community requests.
      • Interpret mainframe and database queries to support investigative case resolution.
      • Document all intelligence and law enforcement data requests thoroughly and consistently.
      • Categorize requests based on data-driven classifications to aid analysis and reporting.
      • Provide weekly status updates on open requests to government stakeholders.
      • Support the submission of monthly metrics and Senior Management Review (SMR) reports detailing volume, type, and duration of requests processed, including handling of classified or emergency inquiries.
      • Coordinate, document, and update functional requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external law enforcement/intelligence users.
      • Participate in project reviews and maintain accountability for schedule baselines and resource impacts due to evolving requirements.
      • Build and maintain investigative case files
      • Integrate biometric and identity data with investigative tools
      • Use formal case management systems (IMESA or others)
      • Maintain consistent documentation of requests and system processes
      • Ensure compliance with legal and operational standards
      • Support knowledge transfer and system audits


      Qualifications

      • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
      • Able to obtain TS/SCI clearance
      • Must be a U.S citizen
      • Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, or Intelligence Analysis
      • Experience managing law enforcement case files
      • Experience with case mgmt. tools (e.g., IMESA)
      • Law enforcement investigative support experience
      • Familiarity with case lifecycle documentation
      • Experience with classified and sensitive documentation
      • Technical writing background in defense or intelligence

      Target Salary Range

      $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
