As the IT Architect & Team Lead, Collabria Financial Inc., you will play a dual role in both technical leadership and team management. You will support the manager by overseeing a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with external service providers to ensure the development, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems that support revolving credit account granting and management. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities. You will guide your team through complex projects, ensure alignment with business goals, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. More specifically, you will be required to:

      • Act as a technology expert and architectural lead, guiding one or more work teams in the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions.

      • You will bridge the gap with IT Security by maintaining proactive communication and securing the necessary approvals in a timely manner.

      • Collaborate with management to drive the execution of technology projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

      • Ensure the achievement of team goals and maintain high levels of satisfaction among internal customers and business partners.

      • Manage the lifecycle and modernization of platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce suite, Jira), including obsolescence planning and updates.

      • Oversee testing activities to ensure systems meet quality standards and implement IT security practices in line with organizational policies.

      • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations of external service providers and manage vendor relationships effectively.

      • Lead all HR-related functions for the team, including recruitment, performance evaluations, talent development, and team building.

      What you bring to the table

      • Bachelor's degree in a related field

      • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

      • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

      • Holds a PMP, scrum master, ITIL, azure, Salesforce certifications

      • Experience in project management, information technology, master plan development, implementation of IT solutions

      • Experience in team management or leadership roles

      • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec

      • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

      • Expert knowledge of Azure

      • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce suite (Service, Market, Data, Experience cloud)

      • Advanced knowledge of the application development cycle

      • Advanced intermediate knowledge of new development approaches (Agile, DevSecOps, etc.)

      • Expert knowledge of IT-related fields (development, quality assurance, project management, software architecture, cloud computing, etc.)

      • Advanced intermediate knowledge of the credit card market and the retail banking industry
