- Provide first-line support for IT-related issues via phone, email, and in person.
- Escalate employee IT-related issues/tickets to the appropriate team member in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Set up and configure computers, printers, and other peripherals for end users.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and antivirus programs.
- Provide assistance with password resets, account lockouts, and user permissions.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist with IT asset management, including tracking hardware inventory and software licenses.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve overall support processes.
- Ensure IT security policies are followed and report potential security threats.
- Help train employees on IT-related tools and best practices.

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years’ customer Service experience required.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.), and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with common office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the IT support field.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is a plus.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar are preferred but not required.

Job Title: IT Helpdesk Technician
Starting Wage: $16.55
Currently we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to employees by triaging tickets, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong problem-solving attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.
