Job Description

- Manage incidents encountered in the environment and resolve problems in systems, processes and services
- Perform security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis and provide guidance on the application and operation of security controls
- Maintain security administration processes and investigate suspected attacks or breaches
- Oversee arrangements for disaster recovery and document recovery procedures
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software, and equipment, creating reports and proposals for improvement, and assisting in the planning and implementation of new installations
- Configure tools to automate provisioning, testing, and development of new and changed infrastructure
- Lead the management and maintenance of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and its ancillary components
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems including build, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting experience
- Supervise the packaging of applications with technologies such as Microsoft Configuration Manager or App-V
- Proficiency with the Citrix XenServer and VMware vSphere virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Govern the deployment and administration of third-party profile management and monitoring tools
- At least 10 years of relevant experience with a post secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline. Prior lead experience is an asset
- The ability to provide on-call technical support and the ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
