What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate system security validation to ensure compliance with Michigan Security Accreditation Process
- Complete the system security plan, disaster recovery plan, and incident response plan
- Assist in developing and implementing the IT strategic plan for the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs
- Mentor DTMB staff to enhance product development support
- Resolve client agency IT issues in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, or related fields
- Alternatively, an associate's degree with 16 semester credits and two years of relevant experience
- Or high school completion with four years of experience in IT-related roles
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with system security plans, risk assessments, or GRC tools
- Familiarity with IT security/compliance processes and procedures
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, HIPAA, CMS, CJIS, IRS, and PCI standards
- Experience in systems analysis and requirements gathering
- Proficiency in SCRUM/Agile methodologies
