- Oversee PMO staff who provide PMO oversight of all Product and IT programs globally.
- Support and drive Agile Transformation.
- Maintain project management metrics, processes, and best practices to ensure projects are executed efficiently and align with organizational goals.
- Mentor Project Managers by providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster professional growth and development.
- Establish evaluation criteria and conduct regular assessments to ensure Project Managers meet performance standards, project objectives, and metrics with commitment to budgets, timelines, and quality.
- Perform staffing capacity analysis for PMO and IT delivery teams.
- Serve as Editor-in-Chief of PMO Publications, including program-level budgets, charters, status reports, change requests, quality reviews, and department-level executive briefings.
- Proven experience in managing a Program Management Office (PMO) or similar leadership role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong editorial skills with experience in producing executive-level documents and reports.
- Ability to interact effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Certified Change Management Professional (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (required).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within a PMO or related field.

OverviewThe AVP PMO is responsible for building, growing, and managing the Gallagher Bassett PMO. The PMO supports Project Managers and teams by providing guidance, tools, and resources to improve project success rates.
This role offers rich opportunities to develop as a leader, problem solver, and strategic planner. There will be frequent opportunities to interact with and influence senior decision makers. This is a hybrid role with flexible work encouraged, based out of Gallagher’s global headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL.
