What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform independent quality checks and develop methods for measuring quality and performance of functional testing processes
- Write test cases based on requirements and user stories, and conduct manual testing as needed
- Source, compile, and interpret data for accuracy and efficiency
- Participate in defect meetings and present analysis on current and re-tested defects
- Contribute to risk management by thoroughly testing existing programs, policies, and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization, or High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively
- Experience in developing testing plans and strategies
- Familiarity with quality assurance testing tools and methodologies
- Preferred certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in leading defect or testing meetings
- Knowledge of risk management practices in IT
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
- Additional certifications in quality assurance or related fields
