Job Description
IT Risk and Control Analyst
Permanent
We’re driven by our commitment to helping the UK get ready for retirement. As part of this, we’re constantly developing new ways to simplify, improve and revolutionise how we help individuals, employers, advisers, our communities and the environment. That means we need the right kind of people on our team.
We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter.
As our IT Risk and Control Analyst, based in Edinburgh or Witham, you will ensure the ongoing management of risks alongside continual development of the control environment to ensure risk exposures. This is a great opportunity for those who have a Risk background looking for their first step into IT or those with an IT Service background looking to enter the world of Risk and Control.
As an IT Risk & Control Analyst you will work to embed first line risk & control responsibilities and accountability across IT, ensuring adherence to all Risk and Control frameworks and policies. This includes the IT SOX programme, Risk Incident management, Breach management and the Risk Assessment process. The role will also be required to execute various control activities in a timely manner and in-line with agreed schedules
If you are looking for a role where you will enjoy tracking and progressing all IT risk related actions, working with action owners across IT to ensure agreed targets are met, developing and delivering effective risk reporting and management information whilst completing trend analysis, identifying root cause and areas for improvement – then this is the role for you!
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
It’d also be great – but not essential - if you’ve got:
What’s in it for you?
We know our staff have busy lives and commitments outside work, so we work flexibly where possible and have a hybrid approach to office working (typically 2 days in the office per week and the rest from home).
We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our staff live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant, onsite Gym (Edinburgh) and online GP appointments.
We serve a diverse, ever-changing world. It's tough, but we work tirelessly to leave things better than we find them. If that sounds like the sort of place you'd like to work, hit the "Apply" button.
Closing date: 30th August 2023
The legal bits
We’ll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK. If we offer you a job and you accept, there are some checks we need to complete before you can start with us. This will include a credit and criminal record check, as well as providing satisfactory references.
