      What you'll do

      1. Design and implement security and compliance frameworks aligned with GDPR, SOC2, and internal policies.
      2. Lead security awareness initiatives and ensure company-wide training completion and enforcement.
      3. Collaborate with engineering and legal to bake security into processes and infrastructure.
      4. Manage security tools (e.g. vulnerability scanners, MDM platforms) and ensure proper configuration and usage.
      5. Run regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans; drive remediation efforts with relevant teams.
      6. Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, documenting actions and improving response playbooks.
      7. Own access management systems (VPNs, Jira, SSO tools) and enforce least privilege principles.
      8. Maintain and update security and compliance documentation, procedures, and audit trails.
      9. Track and report on data usage, endpoint security, and hardware enrollment status across the organization.
      10. Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes (e.g. EU AI Act) and lead the implementation of new compliance frameworks as needed.
      11. Provide hands-on system administration support, especially around secure configurations and updates.
      12. Act as a point of leadership within the security and compliance domain, mentoring others and driving best practices.

      What you'll bring

      1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
      2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a role involving compliance, cybersecurity, or system administration.
      3. Proven experience managing internal and external audits, including prep, execution, and follow-up.
      4. Hands-on experience with security tools like vulnerability scanners, MDM solutions, and endpoint protection.
      5. Familiarity with corporate IT policies and enforcement across multiple departments and device types.
      6. Experience managing user access, VPNs, and tools like Jira or similar platforms.
      7. Track record of responding to security incidents, documenting impact, and driving improvements.
      8. Proficient in administering systems across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
      9. Ability to manage hardware security, including device enrollment and lifecycle tracking.
      10. Available for hybrid work in Mountain View.

      The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $220,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
