What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the development and implementation of information security policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Analyze and interpret relevant legal requirements to align with organizational policies and procedures
- Provide regulatory guidance to ensure adherence to security protocols and best practices
- Identify and address the needs of internal and external stakeholders to enhance security measures
- Conduct data analysis to inform policy decisions and communicate findings to senior leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security policy within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to information security
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and trends to inform policy development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with senior leaders and technical experts
- Experience in policy governance lifecycle and security best practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in cybersecurity and risk management frameworks
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS
- Additional certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
