What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and security operations best practices
- Implement and manage detection and response-based security controls in cloud environments
- Develop and maintain threat models and detection engineering strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives and outcomes
- Create and maintain documentation related to security processes and incident responses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of proven experience in SIEM and security operations
- 3+ years of experience with Splunk, with certifications preferred
- 3+ years of experience with detection and response-based security controls in public cloud environments
- 2+ years of experience with WIZ
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with threat intelligence feeds and cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK, Cloud Formation, or Terraform
- Previous experience in Agile teams
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of influencing technical teams
