- Serves as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Risk Management Framework for Non secure Internet Protocol Network (NIPRNet), Secure Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNet), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS), etc.
- Oversees systems administrative support and information assurance vulnerability assessments (IAVAs), patches, anti-virus, users, privileged users, authentication.
- Serves as the functional proponent and subject matter expert (SME) for Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
- Oversees and/or develops Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts in order to facilitate USARPAC G-2, its Major Subordinate Elements (MSEs) and Ground Intelligence Support Activities (GISAs).
- Performs a variety of substantive and comprehensive Cybersecurity and security management tasks.
- Interprets, formulates or provides input to Cybersecurity, generates policy input, plans, and guidance IAW Army, DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) policies and mandates.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- May be required to perform TDY travel (15%).
- This position has been identified as being a Key Position under the provisions of AR 690-11. Prior to occupying the position, Civilians must be exempted from recall to active duty because of Reserve or retired military obligations.
- Required to satisfactorily complete the appropriate training and obtain the required certification/recertification as outlined in DoD Publication 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, dated 19 Dec 2005.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience, which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: managing programs of a least two of the following: Cybersecurity, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, and Risk Management Programs in compliance with proper policies, guidance, and applicable directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
For this position, individuals must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
1. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency includes: completing thorough and accurate work independently, even in the most difficult or stressful situations; occasionally reviewing work completed by others.
2. 3.
