What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead small software development projects using agile methods within the IIS/AWS framework and SharePoint environment
- Plan and coordinate software development activities, including requirements elicitation, scheduling, documentation, coding, debugging, testing, and user acceptance facilitation
- Establish standard operating procedures for software development activities
- Manage the AWS environment and provide server administration support as needed
- Optimize existing web applications to ensure compliance with Department of Defense standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Two years of relevant experience in web, Intranet, and MS SharePoint design, secure web design, and MS SQL
- Prior experience with Linux is desired
- Four additional years of experience in development areas may substitute for the bachelor's degree
- Active DoD Secret security clearance highly desired, or eligibility to obtain one
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline, which substitutes for two years of relevant experience
- Experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML, VB Script, XML, and CSS
- Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and CloudWatch
- Strong understanding of application development frameworks such as Angular and Power BI
